Today's vocabulary word – Adroit

Adroit” means “skillful” or “adept.” Someone who is adroit makes the best possible choices in any given situation.

Example:  “His adroit use of humor kept the debaters calm, even though the topic was very controversial.”

    Even Snagglepuss, my favourite cartoon caracter as well as my vocabulary teacher, used that word in one of the episodes; when he said to his little duck friend : ” you’ve got to be agile and adroit-like” teaching him hwo to avoid the hunters.
